Green Tara Practice online
From Tuesday January 19 2021, 7.30-9pm (GMT)
with Margo van Greta

Green Tara practice has been used for centuries by people in times of need. The meditation and recitations of the mantra positively affect the subtle forces of the universe that influence everything in our lives. Tara's quality is compassion in action. She is ready to step off her seat, into the world, ready to give help where needed. This makes her practice especially appropriate for us at these times with the current pandemic having its effect on our lives.
Tara's special quality is Bodhicitta: the attitude to develop ourself in order to benefit all beings. Her practice gives us the strength, resilience and inner joy to tackle the challenges of our lives, and be a positive influence in our world.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama recommends Green Tara practice during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Format
The sessions include calm abiding meditation, visualisation, recitation of the mantra, a short introduction to Tantra based on the book by Lama Yeshe: Introduction to Tantra, and time for discussion and questions.
Dates: Tuesday January 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 7.30-9pm (GMT)
