Venerable Robina Courtin
Samsara and Nirvana
Online 19-21 March 2021
Samsara and Nirvana
Buddha has mapped out exactly what suffering is and how to get rid of it in his Four Noble Truths. It explains the technology of samsara — the various levels of suffering and their causes and how we ourselves create them.
The main cause is our delusions, the misconceptions, deep in the bones of our being that we’ve been believing for many lifetimes, which then drive the actions we do that end up programming our minds with future suffering.
By understanding these causes we then learn to know how to get out of samsara — being caught up in these delusions — and into our own nirvana: our liberation from suffering and its causes.
