How to Meditate-Mini retreat online
3-5 April 20201
Margo van Greta
As our lives get more complicated, it seems we need more and more things to make us happy, but somehow we never really succeed. The simple truth eludes us, that happiness is a state of mind, not dependent on external objects. True, deep happiness lies within us and we can tap this great source through meditation.
In this mini retreat you will learn and practise basic meditation techniques. You will learn the definition and purpose of meditation, how to sit properly, how to set up a meditation session, the different types of meditation techniques one may employ, and how to recognise and deal with obstacles to meditation.
You will get access to online audio teachings of Discovering Buddhism module 2, including reading material for further inspiration.
